Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva 2011, 90 points Guía de Vinos ABC

Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva 2011, 90 points Guía de Vinos ABC

Published by renowned Spanish newspaper ABC, this wine guide compiles a thorough list of the best wines from Spain and is distributed with the newspaper one day in the last quarter of every year.

This is not the first time that Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva has been chosen to join this exclusive group, it has rather been part of it for several consecutive years already. On this occasion, the ABC Wine Guide has dedicated it these eloquent words: “Evocative palate, full of fruit flavours intertwined with a perfectly integrated wood. Lively, silky, pleasant, with a great structure, very persistent”.

With a coupage of Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Garnacha grapes, this Príncipe de Viana was made with the best grapes from selected vineyards in the estate. After ageing in French oak barrels and a long rest in the bottle, Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva is a big, complex wine that stands out for its broad array of aromas. Blackcurrant and plums with subtle exotic coconut and chocolate and refreshing mint and eucalyptus notes, with delicate hints of spices.

Príncipe de Viana is a reference for quality, style and relentless efforts to offer consumers wines that respond to their needs.

This philosophy has deserved the recognition of international experts and critics, having received, to name but a few, excellent ratings from prestigious Guía Peñín, the American International Wine Cellar magazine, or The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker).
