Príncipe de Viana Reserva 2013, Gold Medal Challenge International du Vin

Príncipe de Viana Reserva 2013, Gold Medal Challenge International du Vin

May 2018. Príncipe de Viana Reserva 2013 receives a GOLD MEDAL from Challenge International du Vin contest.

Such a prestigious award acknowledges the quality of a wine in which fruit, varietal character and terroir play a key role in the result.

A 100% Tempranillo blend, Príncipe de Viana Reserva displays aromas of ripe red and black fruits -blackcurrants, cherries and plums, balanced with a well-integrated wood which adds notes of cinnamon, dried figs and cocoa to the bouquet. The round sweet tannins and a long finish with delicious notes of fruit and toast make this a warm and complex Reserva that opens gently on the palate.

Possibly one of the most renowned international competitions, Challenge International du Vin gathers thousands of wines every year and puts them to the test but only those that prove extraordinary deserve a Gold Medal.

Awards from contests alike have recognized the essence of Bodegas Príncipe de Viana: Respect for tradition and for a land that has yielded great quality wines with an incomparable ersonality for centuries.

Staying true to this philosophy has rewarded the Navarra brand with the respect of international experts and press. To name a few examples, Peñín Guide, ABC Guide, the American  agazine International Wine Cellar, The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker), and Medals from competitions such as Tempranillos Al Mundo and Challenge International du Vin.
