Príncipe de Viana Vendimia Tardía 2013 92 points Decanter World Wine Awards

July 2016. Príncipe de Viana Vendimia Tardía 2013 has received 92 points from the international wine contest Decanter World Wine Awards.
This award recognises the superb quality of Príncipe de Viana Vendimia Tardía in the face of stiff competition from the thousands of wines from every country and style submitted for the Decanter World Wine Awards.
Its coupage of 100% Chardonnay grapes makes Príncipe de Viana Vendimia Tardía especially innovative, as it is not common for a sweet wine to be made entirely of this white grape. The winemaking is also different, having aged in oak barrels for 12 months. The result is a fresh, lively and aromatic sweet wine with a complex nose, unctuous and warm on the palate, with attractive flavours of quince, orange peel, hazelnuts, walnuts and dried figs.
AMAVI’s Women’s Favourite Wine, the prestigious Women in the World of Wine Association, Príncipe de Viana Vendimia Tardía has received many awards which, together with those granted to all Príncipe de Viana wines by international experts, magazines and wine challenges, make this brand a benchmark for quality and character.
