Príncipe de Viana launches an ORGANIC Garnacha Blanca wine

February 20th, 2018. Príncipe de Viana launches its Príncipe de Viana ORGANIC Garnacha Blanca 2017.

Principe de Viana launched its first wine made with Garnacha Blanca grapes last year. With the new 2017 vintage that will hit the market this month, it will now become an organic Garnacha Blanca wine.

Back in 2017, Bodegas Príncipe de Viana decided to put this little known cepage, indigenous to Navarra, into the limelight, showcasing the potential and character the variety has to offer.
That the latest vintage of this wine is made with organic grapes responds to Príncipe de Viana’s commitment to the production of wines that are environmentally friendly, an ever increasing concern in society today.

But Príncipe de Viana Organic Garnacha Blanca 2017 is also meant to please wine lovers with the variety’s fresh style: The bouquet shows lemony, citric notes, green pear, and white flowers. Full and fresh on the palate, with balanced acidity and a lingering aftertaste. Perfect on its own as an appetizer, it’s also an ideal pairing for seafood, fish, pasta, salads, vegetables and rice dishes.

Príncipe de Viana is a benchmark for quality, style and a dynamic search to meed customer needs with new proposals. This philosophy has earned them recognition of experts and international press alike, having received, to name but a few examples, excellent ratings from the prestigious Peñín Guide, from American magazine International Wine Cellar, or Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate.
